Hi everyone, im considering bringing my 300zx home to NZ when I move back from Australia. Im a bit concerned and unsure about any compliance issues I might have.
I have a 1990 2+2 Targa manual twin turbo. It is mostly stock apart from the exhaust, the egr and aiv system has been removed and a manual boost controller fitted.
Has anybody imported recently? Can these model cars still be brought into the country and get compliance?
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. shrug

Havn't imported a car but been through compliance, the 300zx can be imported if its over 20 years old & meet exhaust emissions standards.
Mine failed the emissions test luckily I new the guys in compliance & they let me throughevil
Surely if you have catilitic converters you should fly throughwink

Awesome that's good news. Yes I do have cat converters, high flows so maybe they'd need swapping out. We'll see how it goes.
Hopefully have it here by the end of the year if all goes to plan.
