It's alive!

OK probably not that exciting, but after a couple years hiding in the shed my NA is alive and legal (dead plates embarassed).
Whilst preparing for Re-vinning I gave the old girl a bit of a birthday, new hoses and seals etc (thanks to Glenn for the Z1 goodness).

Now for the stupid question, is it necessary to get it chipped after deleting the AIV's and the EGR or will it not really affect it?

No need to re chip or tune as it should run fairly nicely without it.
Ultimately if you want to be super fussy then you could and as long as it's done right it'll only do good.

Don't use the American sourced chips as they are designed for different fuels, the JDM tune is actually pretty good for our 98 but a little aggressive for the 95.

In fair condition except for the tabs are damaged from the bumper being ripped off the car at some stage, no significant damage any other places though cool

Any chance you can hold them for a couple of weeks? Just spent bumper money+ on a new alternator for wifey's wizard
angrymachinegunthe POS.

No problem :)

I will set them aside although they have been there a while so no danger of them going in a hurry anyway :)

Hi Geoffrey
Welcome to the forum :D

The place to go for all your Z32 needs is either Jim Wright Nissan here in Hamilton (07 8390666) or Z1 motorsports in USA
http://www.z1motorsports.com/index.php

There are obviously other suppliers but these are the two that I have found to be extremely good over the years & very supportive of our local community.

The part you were after is listed here: http://www.z1motorsports.com/p…..cts_id=628 I'm pretty certain at $112 US + shipping, it'd pay to load it up with a few lighter items to help fill the space to reduce shipping per item, alternatively I could bring it in for you with a bunch of other stuff & pass it on at cost :)

Feel free to give me a bell on 027 2789691 if you need anything :)
