Here is the Boost Graph.

A bit work to do to smooth out the "humpy" bits and lift the top-end a bit.

The new Oil Catch Tank is made … many thanks to Glenn ( The Lab ) and installed … PCV system IS gone :D

Had to relocate the Fuel Filter to the back of the car to make room.

The tank has a 13mm drain with a tap accessible from underneath the car for easy-ish access.

Now just have to source a Solid State Relay and sort it's wiring to the ECU for my new improved water injection control, then it's off to finish the tune ( seems to be a never ending process  )

Cheers Marty … probably a bit too much testosterone.

Have decided to go back to a TT Diff because me thinks the n/a one will throw it's toy's when I put on some sticky tyres and hit the track.
Hopefully the extra gearing shouldn't be an issue, a standard car is making 384nm at the flywheel @ 3600rpm while mine makes 425nm at the wheels @ 3600rpm … will most likely make 5th gear redundant on the track though.

You might find you will do faster lap times as you wont be hooking another gear as often. Could be offset by slightly slower acceleration though.

We need to have a drag race (I'm going to keep saying that until it happens laugh )

Well … put a TT Diff and Sub-frame back in the car ( worried about breaking the n/a one ) what a difference cry … oh well, now saving for some 4:11 Leader gears. It's never f^(king ending brickwall

More worried about breaking the axles, the drive shaft was a single piece and plenty strong enough … more like 320 if it could pull 7500rpm in top gear which I think it would do that and most likely more wink

Nothing wrong with a good theory beerchug

Race seat now fitted along with a 4 point harness and in the process of moving the battery and water injection tank, pump etc. forward.

Wasn't really happy having that weight behind the rear axle … should improve the balance … embarassed have I been watching F1 again ?

New Cam's ordered … have gone with Mechanical rather than Hydraulic (oem).

Custom grind from Kellford Cams.

Won't know the final spec's until finished but will be looking at around 10.5mm Lift @ the Valve and 238deg Duration @ 1mm Lift

My current cam's are 9.3mm Lift and 219deg Duration @ 1mm Lift

Will have adjustable gears on all 4 and will be dialled in exactly spec's.

Who made those up for you?

You will need another 2.6L to keep up with my new toy (if it ever gets finished laugh )

The Inlet's are "Mad Mikes" old Tomie Gears, the Exhaust's are ones Chad's ( from Tauranga ) he had made – I have painted them the same colour and replaced the fastenings with stainless steel to make them look pretty-er.

Have set the tappet clearances on one side – one to go.

Shim's are adjusted with all clearances to within .001 inches – hopefully -

Time to install the cams, but before that there was a little job that needed doing… tap a certain little hole and make a screw-in plug.

Then loctite it in.

Finally got the engine running  … wasn't quite prepared for how noisy the valve train would be with solid lifters, not in a bad way ( for me anyway ), the sound could described as sounding like a large DOHC motorcycle engine.
