You can use petroliem jelly to help seal things up, also if you inject/insiert a pliable foam type sustance in to the rubber seals it will tighten things up & help a lot.
It's pretty trickey to explain & would take longer to write it all out than what it would take to just fix it
Check the drain is not blocked, this is a VERY common cause of leaking t top roofs on Z32s
