Well we all know some people just can't take a little criticism & yesterday I came across an EXTREME version of this.

Around Jan someone asked about a product on another forum & wanted to know if it would be suitable for replacing a part on a 300ZX, I suggested it wouldn't due to its design & suggested let someone else try it first.
The owner of the company that produced the part posted up some less than friendly comments & started talking down to me immediately as if he were all that. I suggested the testing he had done had given erroneous readings and that the advice he had been given was wrong & he needed to review his claims of performance – he refused & attacked my qualifications etc numerous times.

The product in question had a pretty huge claim about its performance, unbelievable as far as I am concerned so I organized to purchase one and put it to the test for public review.

Yesterday I completed a little testing & found the unit completely unable to do what the seller claims so I made this public on the same forum as the original thread/question, I received thanks from a few members, the seller again started trying to attack myself personally & then the thread was locked. I posted a very brief warning about the product on another page and then received a death threat ph cell ph call from the seller of the item.

Seems this sack of crap feels it's fair to ignore advice from a person qualified in the particular area that his product might not be capable of doing what he says & feels it's fair to make death threats over this.

I've reported the mater to the Police.
